wait? wut? Posts: 342 Group: Umbrella Agent Member #143 Joined: February 19, 2008 Name/Class of main: Ordain/Zealot	So I wasted my early access levelling a character that I could'nt get into. (Which I knew was gonna happen, this is standard for me in MMOs) Anyways, what does the guild need more, another chosen or another zealot. I kinda wanna do a magus again so thats not entirely ruled out, but Id like to either kick massive amounts of ass in my platemail, or heal massive amounts of rape with a skull. So WHICH IS IT!? OH GAWD WHAT SHOULD I DO

But zealots are tough as hell I hear... And chances are a chosen will be recruited since they are a very popular class. So I wouldn't worry about whether or not tanks are needed. And when is a healer not needed? Plus not a lot of zealots so if your studly at it it'll shine more IMO. Ya just my two cents.

Posts: 342 Group: Umbrella Agent Member #143 Joined: February 19, 2008 Name/Class of main: Ordain/Zealot	Alot of the chosen filter out by level 20 though, the realization that levelling a tank sucks is something most people dont realize til too late. I did it in wow and hated levelling, but loved endgame as a tank. I loved endgame as a healer as well. so its tough. I was kinda considering a black orc, but they and the chosen seem to be pretty similar excluding that one leans kinda towards tanking and the other leans kinda towards spanking. I dunno. Its a sign of good class design that everything so far has been appealing and fun so I can't decide what I want to make my main.

THeir like grunting and audio of everything they do is bad ass. PLAY one and you got yerself a pocket healer me and khatib ripped through a war priest and a white lion and a whitch hunter the other day... its a great class when played decent.

Over this last week everyone knows Ive rolled like one of everything. The results of the coin toss are as follows. (4 out of 7) Black orc vrs Chosen 4 to 2 Magus vrs Marauder 3 to 4 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ULTIMATE ELIMINATION ROUND!!!!!!111!!! Marauder vrs Black orc 4 to 1 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So. I logged on and made the victorious marauder, and jesus christ this thing hits hard. Im still a bit apprehensive, and im sure wintermute and albis will both log on and post telling me to stop being on my period and choose a god damn class. So from the marauders in our guild, how is the dps and survivability of the class? From what ive seen so far in sword and claw mode he kicks quite a bit of ass, but do you find that you get dropped ridiculous quick without a healer? Edited by Ordain, Sep 25 2008, 12:14 PM.

I'd make a sorc or a magus. we're lacking aoe dps, which is the most important thing in end-game aside from heals.

I really like the way the class functions. The only problem with the way things work, is that I can't hotswap between gifts. For whatever reason, the UI deletes all my abilities from my hotbar when I switch, regardless of how I set my abilities/lock the bar etc. This is completely my class though, after dominating a bright wizard in 4-5 hits last night in Nordenwatch, you realize the class takes quite a bit of finesse. You have to decide when to light up your opponent, and with what ability based on what debuffs and dots are present on him for peak efficiency. Your first inclination when playing is just to run up and blow as much deeps as possible, but if you play smart this class definitely becomes much more powerful.

But mine is glitched. No matter how I set up the bars, it deletes em when I change gifts. I may have to reinstall.
