On the eve of launch I thought a few of you guys might get some enjoyment out of this subject. I thought it mildly appropriate. I recall being disappointed when I learned Games Workshop was so horrified with what Climax had done with their IP they revoked the licensing, the funding and severed all ties with them. The game play and carrier choices sounded interesting but the lore wasn't there and I remember reading about how the other game mechanics were just too convoluted. It was back in 2004 when I heard it was canceled and I remember being over fucking joyed when Mythic got the next shot at it. I mean I really was looking forward to it (I've played the tabletop both fantasy and 40k since I was 12). I think they even we're trying to do mounted and unmounted combat. But yeah that voice in the trailer is really fucking lame and it really doesn't look like Warhammer. Here's an article that sums most of it up, it goes over some of what the game was supposed to be.
