Who Else is Rolling Magus?

Slacker Posts: 18 Group: Umbrella Agent Member #95 Joined: February 5, 2008	Well, after a long internal struggle over playing maurader or magus, I have come to the conclusion that I'm gonna go magus (assuming nothing drastic changes) Figured I would find out who else is going same class and what thoughts people have on it.

However, I most likely will roll a Black Gaurd when Akilleys gets back from his deployment in Iraq to help him level. I play Dark Elves tabletop and my fondness of the Durichii just barely overrides my need to roll another caster alt. N

I learned over the course of 3 years on WoW, which was my FIRST mmo...that I could NOT play as a ranged dps class. It had to be melee dps, and only melee dps. In that way...the only classes I ever got above lvl 35 was a paladin, 4 rogues, and 2 warriors. Two years into the game, I rerolled a ranged dps guy for a final test...got to level 34 on a warlock and nearly died from unenjoyable gameplay. Marauder = Melee Magus = Ranged Just be sure, don't regret your decision

I think I got it. Posts: 139 Group: Umbrella Agent Member #377 Joined: March 31, 2008 Name/Class of main: Saule (aka Phytrus) / Magus	I'll either be playing Magus or Black Guard. I digg the Magus is because it seems it has abilities to kite + immunties to short bursts of physical damage. If the Black Guard plays as badass as the ONE picture looks then I'll be into it. I've played both realms of dps (ranged/melee) and I enjoyed aspects of both. We'll have to see when WAR comes out how I feel about each.

We'll have to see when WAR comes out how I feel about each. > I mostly enjoy off-specing but these are what i raided with: 60 resto druid( i know not offspec at all...) 60 enhancement shammy. 70 fury/ms warrior, 70 shadownuke warlock, of course all these builds translated into pvp very well.

And I don't see how it translates well into pvp. The only spec that includes any remote shadowbolt spec spamming in pvp is 7/43/11. As for the question. I was originally going magus, but i'm considering sorc or a healer now. Healer so I can healbot Sephs causing him to become even better than everyone else.
