I saw this picked up on a few other Warhammer sites and it's definitely worth posting here. BOOM Studios is running a promotion for their new comic Condemned By Fire. The short of it is, this comic costs $3.99. Each comic comes with a scratch off code you enter at the beta center. Approximately 20% of the codes entered will get you into beta. Another thing to take note is this from the website, "The promotional code must be activated by May 31, 2008 to be eligible for the Beta Test." Does this mean we are looking at a June release? Speculations fly but for now here is what BOOM has to say about the comic.

Who wants to start buying em with me? 20%....not bad...May 31, 2008...definitely June Release imo...

EDIT: HERES THE SITE...OFFICIAL!!!!
BUY NOW

I'm just waiting for someone to say:

So, that means if you buy 5 you have a 100% chance of getting into beta!!! that means its only $20 to get into beta!

5*20=100 duhhhhhhhhhhhh

edit: but seriously tho... you have a 67% to get in if you buy 5

edit again: I personally wouldn't pay $20 bucks from what i've seen of beta so far

What if I pay you 20 bucks for your beta account... (if you have one yourself that is)

first, i don't have beta- my roommate does ;)
second- they know your ip/dxdiag so it wouldn't work on a different comp in a different place
third- don't get butt hurt, it's beta it's supposed to be shitty. that's why they have beta

I'm not butt hurt, I'm just bored off my ass, and I'd rather kill time in a buggy beta than a tired shitty old game that I've played to death like WoW.

What's the point of that? The most fun part of WoW is that too short leveling phase where you have shit to do before hitting the brick wall end game that leaves you with 3 BGs, arenas, and raids that make you over commit for loot that will get wiped in the next xpac anyways.

You may or may not be able to use only one per beta account. Having multiple beta accounts will void all eligibility for beta, and no they don't tell you if they find out.
