Why because the only games i want to play coming out in the next year i can easily play on my computer. With Intel releasing their new 45nm processors early. At least with the kentsfield architecture the quad will last a quite a while, not to mention theres still a few dev's out there slow on the uptake for duel core support. All and all this system will have greater portability than my current. And more than half the credit goes to you for it. N

N I do have to agree with the argument that it wont drop off like the p4 did when dual cores dropped... However 8 cores on a 32mn die.. FUCKING HELL.. but mark my words.. we will see 16mn with 16 cores with in 10 years.. it will make the best Quad that is out now look like a Pentium 2.
